North Sea rescue and workboats BV delivers new vessels towards Dutch Police
3-May-2011 North Sea rescue and workboats BV is proud to announce a successful hand over of two 8mtr Rigid Inflatable Boats towards the Dutch Police. The vessels are identical and equipped with a customized lay-out. The design of the vessel has been developed in close cooperation with the end-users and features the following;
- Large aluminum “one-off” console, sand-blasted and powder coated,
- custom-build A-frame with self-righting bag,
- 300 HP SUZUKI outboard, giving a steady 90KM/H top speed
- C 2000 Police radio integration
- 2x VHF Icom
- Raymarine chart plotter
- Durable hull technology
- Keel guard by Stainless steel
- LED flash-lights
- LED navigation lights
- Jason Cradle for recovery of man overboard
- Trailer type Riba
The vessel have been taken in to duty this month and we received overwhelming complements of the sailing behavior and maneuverability of the vessels. The vessels are stationed near the IJssel lake at inshore waters. Nice to announce is that one of the vessels assists the Royal Dutch yacht “Groenedraeck” when the Royal family is on- board.
